I used to struggle building professional relationships as a young woman in business, but that all changed when I joined EDGE. The community of young professionals at EDGE have been invaluable in supporting each other as we grow together. I've been able to expand my network and even make lifelong friends. The weekly Zoom meetings, in-person events, and one-to-ones have allowed me to get to know others on a personal level. In just 7 months as a member, I've seen a significant growth in myself as a professional and an individual. I'm proud to be a chapter leader and a member of the Event Planning Committee. I want to express my gratitude to EDGE and all its members for their support. I'm excited to see what the future holds for us all.
EDGE has supported me in driving my passions outside of work, including being a chapter leader for the Elite Chapter, a member of the events planning committee, and an EDGE Meeting Advisor. EDGE has not only brought me new connections but forever-lasting friendships. EDGE has enabled me to connect with individuals in other fields and expand my knowledge throughout different industries and my career.
Being a part of EDGE has been one of the best decisions I've made as an entrepreneur in my twenties. It's been a great opportunity to connect with others in similar positions and has been beneficial for my business. But what I value most are the friendships I've formed through EDGE.
The EDGE Networking Group provides an ideal opportunity to interact with other young professionals. I love the laid-back, yet classy atmosphere of each meeting which allows for easy conversations and mingling. Looking back on my first meeting, I certainly wanted to meet new people, but my top priority was to do so with the intent of growing my business. Over time though, it turned into much more than that. I have realized through EDGE that investing in relationships with people who see value in doing the same is what really moves the needle.
As a new business owner who had never been a part of networking groups, I couldn’t be happier to be a part of this group. All the members truly want the best for one another and it's not just a show up to show up type of meeting, each member generally cares about the success of the others and wants to learn something from each get-together. It's become a spot for me to bounce ideas off the others because most likely someone has already encountered a similar situation. On top of the Tuesday morning meetings, we do multiple happy hours or dinners a month where we get to know each other outside of the workplace which has only further strengthened not only my network but everyone's network in the group. 10/10 would recommend to others
